With the outbreaks of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the United States and around the world, congregations and worshiping communities need to be well-informed and well-prepared. The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) has provided a website addressing the current situation at http://www.elca.org/publichealth, offering guidance and resources as we minister to and engage with each other, and within our communities.

Included on the ELCA site is a brief guide to streaming worship services. Augsburg Fortress licensing for livestreaming worship services is being temporarily expanded to support the worship ministry of congregations, particularly in response to advice being given in some situations to avoid gathering for public worship. See Expanded Licensing for more information.

Beginning the week of March 15, employees of 1517 Media will work remotely. No employee has shown any signs of illness; we’ve made this decision to support the common good of reducing possible infection paths. At this time we do not expect any delays in order processing and shipping. We continue to monitor the situation and will update this page with any changes.

Each of us at 1517 Media remains committed to the work of supporting your ministry. If you have any questions about how we can continue to do so during these extraordinary circumstances, please do not hesitate to call us at 800-328-4648 or contact our sales and service team.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1)
